We met Irina two years ago when she was one of the teachers in a local Russian class for 3-4 year olds. My daughter absolutely loved the class and could not wait to see Irina each week. Now Irina runs a weekly morning Russian club at my children’s school, and my two boys, ages 10 and 8, and my daughter, who is now 5, are greatly enjoying the club. Irina has an amazing talent for teaching children with different abilities and different levels of knowledge. She keeps the lessons fun, incorporates popular songs, poetry and cultural concepts, and the children learn so much along the way. They don’t mind getting up extra early to make it to Irina’s club!
